is a Package Mortgage?
A Package Mortgage includes appliances (example: microwave, refrigerator,
stove) and realty that are classified as personal property in real estate
mortgages. This is done to make the value of the house go up, and, correspondingly,
increase the amount of the loan. These items are used as collateral, and
cannot be sold without the approval of the lender.
